Specialty insurance broking platform
Weave complexity into clarity
Loomiq is the broking platform for specialty brokers, MGAs and coverholders, in the London market and beyond. The depth a complex risk needs appears only when that risk needs it, so simple business is never slowed by it.
Not yet on general release
Five specialty pillars
- Domestic and regional specialty
- Global specialty
- Capital, advisory and placement
- Multinational programmes
- High-net-worth private clients
Specialty, both ends
Complex placements. Simple schemes. One record.
Most firms place complex risks and run delegated business in the same book. Loomiq keeps both on one record, and the route to market decides how much of the machinery each risk sees.
Complex placements
Every layer, line and section
- Layers and sections with written and signed lines, and bureau premium submissions built from the signed lines
- Market reform contracts pre-filled from the case, with a hard check before issue
- Core Data Record completeness and contract certainty, worked out from the record
- Fair presentation, quote comparison and a recommendation the broker signs
- Wordings checked against the agreed terms before they reach the client
High-volume delegated business
Run by rules. People by exception.
- Scheme products with rating, referral rules, and sections offered only when the answers call for them
- Online quote and bind for simple scheme clients, within the binder's authority, when the firm switches it on
- Binder capacity checked and taken under a lock, so two binds cannot both use the last of it
- Bordereaux validated against the coverholder reporting standard and posted on acceptance
- Policies changed, cancelled and renewed on the policy itself, with no placement case
- One work queue with service levels, routing and bulk actions for what needs a person
The rule
Complex capability never adds steps to simple business
Every product, class and case has a route to market. It sets the defaults and decides which bind-readiness checks apply, so a binder, facility or company-direct risk is not asked for London lines and signing. The controls that matter stay on every route.
| Check | Open market, London | Binder or facility | Company direct |
|---|---|---|---|
| Written lines | Asked | Not asked | Not asked |
| Signing | Asked | Not asked | Not asked |
| Short placement | Asked | Not asked | Not asked |
| Sanctions screening | Always | Always | Always |
Automations are switches a firm turns on for itself; they start off.
Automation first
Less keying. Fewer clicks to move on.
Wherever Loomiq can take out rekeying or a click to progress, it does, and it shows its working.
Pre-filled
Contracts, the Core Data Record, submission packs and renewals start from what the record already holds, with the source of every figure.
Extracted, then confirmed
Emails and documents dropped into intake are read into a draft, each field with its confidence and the words it came from. A person confirms. Schedules of values and loss runs are read by rules, not AI.
Moved on by rule
The policy journey works out where each placement stands from its records. Firm rules can raise tasks or move a case on when their conditions are met, through the same checks a person faces.
What automation never does
AI never sends, binds, moves money or processes a claim on its own. An automatic bind is a fixed rule inside a scheme's authority, never an AI decision. And Loomiq is a system of record: it never moves cash.
AI, governed
AI that shows its sources
AI in Loomiq reads and drafts. Your people decide. Every use is routed, budgeted and logged.
Case summary
Three or four lines at the top of every case. Blockers are always written by the rules, and every figure the AI writes must match a fact it cites.
Broker assistant
An account brief, renewal facts and submission drafts on the case. Facts and numbers come from the record; the AI writes only the synthesis, for the broker to accept, edit or reject.
Your own assistant, through MCP
Connect an AI assistant to Loomiq's MCP server with the user's own permissions. It reads, and stages changes for a person to confirm on screen. Actions that send, issue, bind or move money are never offered to it.
One AI router
Administrators choose the provider and model for each use, with budgets and kill switches. Each call is logged without its prompt or response.
Data stays in region
Client documents go only to providers approved for confidential data, and providers outside the firm's data region are skipped.

Security and trust
Controls a regulated firm can rely on
Security, data protection and conduct controls are part of the platform, not an add-on.
Security
Two-step verification with authenticator apps and passkeys, single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace, session revocation, sign-in lockout and rate limits.
UK GDPR
A record of processing, data rights handled on the statutory clock, and personal fields such as dates of birth and identity numbers encrypted at rest.
FCA-oriented controls
Contract certainty, demands and needs, complaints and vulnerability records, sanctions screening, four-eyes approvals and client money records, built into the workflow.
Tenant isolation and audit trail
Each firm's data is isolated and tested for isolation on every change. A hash-chained, append-only audit trail makes tampering evident.
Data residency
Each firm and legal entity has a home data region. Today, data is hosted in the UK and EU region (Amsterdam), and storage and AI routing check the region.

FAQ
Questions we are asked
Is Loomiq available now?
Not on general release yet. We are glad to walk you through it on demonstration data: write to help@loomiq.io.
Is it only for the London market?
No. London placement is one route to market among several. Binder, facility, company-direct and regional business runs without London lines, signing or the Core Data Record.
Does it suit simple, high-volume business?
Yes, and it is designed so complex capability never adds steps to it. Simple scheme policies can be quoted and bound online within the binder's authority, serviced on the policy itself and run from a work queue by exception. A one-screen lane for simple products is on the roadmap.
What does the AI do on its own?
It reads, drafts and suggests, and a person confirms before anything is written. It never sends, binds, moves money or processes a claim, and each automation is a switch your firm turns on.
Does Loomiq handle client money?
No. Loomiq is the system of record for premium and claims accounting. It records transactions, allocations and client money calculations, but it never moves cash.
Where is our data held?
In the UK and EU data region, hosted in Amsterdam. Each firm and legal entity has a home data region, and storage and AI routing respect it.
Can we connect our own systems and AI assistants?
Yes. The partner API, webhooks and personal access tokens carry the same permissions, validation and audit as the screens, and the MCP server lets your own assistant work with a user's permissions, staging changes for that person to confirm.
